computing using 'PostgreSQL' &lt;https://www.postgresql.org/&gt; as a
backend. Designed for embarrassingly parallel problems where
tasks do not communicate with each other. Dynamically
distributes tasks to workers, handles uneven load balancing,
and allows new workers to join at any time. Particularly useful
for running large numbers of independent tasks on
high-performance computing (HPC) clusters with 'SLURM'
&lt;https://slurm.schedmd.com/&gt; job schedulers.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/byzheng/actions/runs/35833825499</link><pubDate>Thu, 25 Jun 2026 02:38:46 GMT</pubDate><r:package>taskqueue</r:package><r:version>0.2.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://byzheng.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/byzheng/taskqueue</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>getting-started.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>getting-started.html</r:filename><r:title>Getting Started with taskqueue</r:title><r:created>2025-11-24 10:48:32</r:created><r:modified>2025-11-24 11:21:34</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>postgresql-setup.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>postgresql-setup.html</r:filename><r:title>PostgreSQL Setup for taskqueue</r:title><r:created>2025-11-24 10:48:32</r:created><r:modified>2025-11-24 10:58:44</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>simple-workflow.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>simple-workflow.html</r:filename><r:title>Simple Workflow with tq_apply</r:title><r:created>2025-11-24 10:48:32</r:created><r:modified>2025-11-24 10:48:32</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>ssh-setup.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>ssh-setup.html</r:filename><r:title>SSH Setup for taskqueue</r:title><r:created>2025-11-24 10:06:10</r:created><r:modified>2025-11-24 10:58:44</r:modified></r:article></item><item><title>[byzheng] weaana 0.3.1</title><author>bangyou.zheng@csiro.au (Bangyou Zheng)</author><description>Functions are collected to analyse weather data for
